VG-10 steel and a convex cutting edge
VG-10 is a Japanese high-carbon stainless steel valued for edge retention and corrosion resistance, hardened here to around 60-61 HRC. The solid blade carries a hand-honed convex edge that meets the toothed blade cleanly, so hair is caught and released smoothly without pushing or bending.
Matte black finish and offset handle
The multi-layer matte black coating is engineered to resist chipping and hold its matte look through a long working life. The offset handle, with its finger brace and removable finger inserts, lets the thumb sit low and relaxed and lets you fine-tune the fit, which helps reduce strain over a long shift.
